At a presentation evening on 30th May, East Maitland Bowling Club awarded Hunter Lord’s Taverners $1,000 to help grow membership and community engagement in Maitland. The Lord’s Taverners Australia exists to give the young and disadvantaged a sporting chance. All funds raised by the branches of the Taverners support people with a disability, those who are enduring hardship, disadvantaged members of our community, and young people to pursue their ambitions and dreams. The Hunter branch of the Taverners has identified the potential for Maitland to grow branch membership and be an area in which we can expand the provision of our community support. We are very grateful to Easts for their help to our cause
