There was jubilation in the ranks of the Hunter Taverners when the news came in that 2nd prize in the Lord’s Taverners Australia raffle had come to the Hunter. Congratulations to Antony Gorman who won $10,000 worth of electrical products from Harvey Norman in Darwin. Antony is pictured here with Hunter branch chairman John McLaughlin after making his selection at Harvey Norman Bennets Green store. Antony’s win is even more special as he is active in giving the young and disadvantaged a sporting chance, which is of course, the Taverners’ motto.
