[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]There were anxious checks on the weather apps during the week but glorious sunshine allowed the inaugural Tavs v Tavs match to proceed at Lorn Oval. This fixture was disappointingly washed out last year but the Robert ‘Dutchy’ Holland Memorial Match was on for young and old, mostly old. The Trunkies won the toss and put the Rusties in to bat so that they wouldn’t have to run around after consuming a magnificent lunch. Thanks ladies for your usual great spread. The Rusties made 7/163, with no injuries apart from hurt feelings from the ever-present sledging. The Trunkies won ugly-but-dominant with 7/166 in the 39th over.

It was a wonderful game on wonderful ground. The facilities were excellent and thanks go to Norths and their president Will Callinan for hosting us so well. Man Of The Match for the victors was Greg Clinton and for the please-themselves was Bill Schafer. Match ball awards went to Tony Amodio and Andrew Murdoch.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1196″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”1197″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
