Vale Graham Halton

Hunter Lord’s Taverners and the cricket community in general were saddened by the news that long-term member and team mate Graham Halton had died. Our condolences go out to his wonderful wife Jill. Graham had not been in the best of health, but still his passing was a shock.

Graham and Jill had been Golden Oldies tourists since the 2006 festival in Sri Lanka. They were always great company and shared many memorable moments in 8 festivals around the globe. Graham was also a member of the Tavs regular playing group. Over his career with us he played 146 matches, scoring 1,166 runs and taking 37 catches. He was a well-known character across the veterans cricket movement. Jill whole-heartedly supported Graham in his cricket endeavours and is a prominent member of the famous Taverners WAGS. In accordance with Graham’s wishes there was no funeral.
